about

A Jazz Album is an ensemble of young musicians based in NYC that focuses on highlighting the timelessness of the Great American Songbook.
Too often do jazz musicians use these pieces as vehicles for improvisation rather than realizing the stories embedded into each song. A Jazz Album blends improvised music and humor together in a way that both confronts the bastardization of timeless classics and showcases their beauty.

A subtle dig to the hyper-masculinity found in most jazz conservatories mixed with the showcasing of beautiful American standards, "Remind Me What the Bridge Does Again" is the ensemble's second release. The original trio is joined by Elora Aclin & Eliana on voice, Anthony Pearlman on Piano, and special appearances by Lucas del Calvo and Theo Walentiny.
